Go See James and the Giant Peach Before It's Gone

By Beth Bell, Assistant Publisher Macaroni Kid Roanoke October 6, 2015
The Roanoke Children's Theatre is kicking off their 8th season with James and the Giant Peach, based on the beloved book by Ronald Dahl. The production features hilarious comedy, unique characters, a clever set and creative costumes that are sure to keep your children engaged!

Pat Wilhelms, Artistic Director, says she is "excited about this play because it is about overcoming enormous obstacles and finding the meaning of family".  These are great values for our children!

My sons and I have attended at least one play per season at the Roanoke Children’s Theatre and the cast never disappoints! What I find most endearing is the wide eyed wonder of the small children who dot the laps of the audience.  My sons loved the motion, imaginative costumes and comical characters.  We are very fortunate to have such a treasure in the Roanoke Valley where young and old alike are invited to fall in love with theatre.

Catch it while you can through Sunday, October 11th.  For more information, visit roanokechildrenstheatre.org
