Note from the Publisher ~ Wait, it's May already?

I saw a funny picture on Facebook that had one friend saying "Wow, March sure did fly by!" and the other friend says, "It's May". Anyone else feel that way? April is a blur. And I really don't want that to happen to May. I love May. We have Mother's Day. My birthday. My oldest turns 11 and will be graduating 5th grade {don't even get me started on this} and I get to head to Detroit to spend the weekend with some amazing Mac Kid publishers. It's a packed month for sure and I want to enjoy every second of it. 

This month I'm all about stoppig to smell the roses. Since Mother's Day and my birthday are rolled into May I decided to treat myself and have been busy redecorating our deck so I can enjoy it all month long. Some new flowers, hanging baskets and comfy furniture are just what the doctor ordered. I love it so much. It's kinda like a little oasis for me in the midst of all the chaos of homework, SOLs, baseball practice and everything motherhood brings.

I hope you can find an oasis in all the chaos of your day-to-day life, too. You deserve it! Being a mom is hard work!
