Something I am so excited about this summer is sitting on my deck {when the weather finally clears and the sun comes out} and drinking a refreshing glass of lemonade. I also know that before long I'm going to have hot, sweaty kids running inside needing something yummy to drink.
I don't know about you but I am kinda sorta picky about what juice I let my kids drink. There are so many options and when you start to read ingredients you wonder "how can they call themselves fruit juice when there is no actual fruit in here?" When I was first introduced to Santa Cruz Organics a few things impressed me. For starters they are USDA Certified Organic AND they are Non-GMO verified. Both of those are stamps of approval in my book and let me know I'm giving my kids a juice with "real" ingredients. Of course, my kids could care less about those things, they just want their juice to taste good. And, I'm happy to report Santa Cruz not only passes this mom's test, it passed my kids' taste test, too! Santa Cruz Organics are for sure a Macaroni Kid family favorite.

Knowing my kids love Santa Cruz Organics made me even more exited to share with our friends. Santa Cruz Organics sent us some of their newest Agua Fresca juices for the Macaroni Kid Summer Fun party! Guests sampled pomegranate, grapefruit, and mango. Agua Fresca juices are inspired by Mexican tradition of blending juices with a splash of citrus juice. If you have trouble drinking juices because they are too sweet I think you'll be pleased at how Agua Fresca is really all about the full fruit flavor and no unnecessary sweetness. The mango tasted just like eating a sweet, ripe, mango. The grapefruit was for sure a party favorite, even among the children, at the Summer Fun party. And I personally love the pomegranate!
