Bricks 4 Kidz® Summer Camp Registration in Full Swing!

By sponsored content May 24, 2016
At Bricks 4 Kidz, 2016 summer camp registrations are in full swing. We have new theme weeks for this summer and will bring back some of our most popular themes with new builds. In addition to our half-day camp sessions, we are also offering a full day option (9am to 4pm) and an early drop-off (8am) and late pick-up (5pm) option. Go in and register your builder today and make sure you get the sessions that you want!

Bricks 4 Kidz® camps are fun, high-energy experiences offering: LEGO® model building featuring working motors, lots of unique free-play bricks for creative model building, and games and challenges using LEGO® Bricks. We use LEGO bricks and Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) principles to build amazing worlds of fun in a variety of different themes each day.  Sample themes include Mining & Crafting, Jurassic Brick, Superheroes, Pirates and Star Wars. Your child will enjoy building LEGO mosaics, 3D LEGO Builds and motorized LEGO projects. Each Summer Camper will make a custom mini-fig to take home at the end of the week and receive a Bricks 4 Kidz camp t-shirt.

This summer, Bricks 4 Kidz is also rolling out our Robotics program, which offers
all the fun of building with LEGO Bricks, plus the challenge
of computer programming! How would you like to turn your next LEGO creation into a robot, programmed to do exactly what you tell it to do? These fun, action-packed weeks combine real life skills with real kid fun, using the principles of STEM. We will be offering three weeks of Robotics Camps and our themed STEM camps at The Brambleton Center through Roanoke County Parks and Rec, you can register for those on their website.

Also, we will be partnering with North Cross School’s Summer Camp program and will be offering two weeks of our themed STEM Camps and two weeks of Robotics camps on their campus. Registration available for those camps through North Cross School’s website.

We are also partnering with the Girl Scouts of Virginia Skyline Council and holding a week long Bricks 4 Girlz Engineering Camp at Camp Icimani in Roanoke and Camp Sacajawea in Lynchburg.  Registration for those camps are available on their website.
