I'm going to come right out and say it. I'm glad my kids are back at school. Now, please don't misunderstand me because we had a fantastic summer filled with travel, fun and great memories. But. It was time. For them. School is good for my boys. Besides the obvious learning and education and all that, almost more importantly they need time apart. They need their own friends, they need their own class and this year they even get their own school (my oldest started middle school). I am so thankful they are best friends and play so well together (most of the time) but they need to be individuals and do their own thing. And being back at school {finally} allows for that to happen. Plus, since they aren't up in each other's business all day long, they actually get along better when they are together in the afternoon! And that makes this work-at-home mama very happy!
