Ok, confession time. As my kids get older I get less and less enthusiastic about Halloween. My 11 year old is currently undecided if he'll trick-or-treat. Which means that we'll have no costume ready and at 3:30PM on Halloween he'll decide he wants to go because all his friends are going. My 9 year old does want to go trick-or-treating even though he actually doesn't eat candy {I'm honestly not sure if he's actually mine or not} because he really wants to dress up as the a poop emoji this year. So there you go. I've got one "too cool" for Halloween and one poop emoji. Yeah.
I did find this cute video on DIY Halloween costumes that I wanted to share. I do love a homemade costume. My mom always made them for me and when my kids were younger I did make a few for them. {And in case you are wondering, no, I am not making the poop emoji costume. I just can't. So instead I will actually spend money to allow my son to dress up as poop.}
