My Story:

I believe things happen for a reason. I had a great job I loved and fully intended to retire from, but in 2009 life changed. I found myself in the same position of many right now: unemployed. My talent being specialized (3D computer animation), I wasn’t able to find work that specifically suited my skills in southwest Virginia and remained unemployed. During this time, I got to spend more time at home withmy kids and there in was my “reason”. I never thought I would want to be a stay-at-home-mom (SAHM) until now.

After being home “full time”, I realized I had been missing out on the early stages of my kids’ lives. I’m a MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) mom of two and I constantly strive to be a good mom. I feel more confident about doing that the more I’m at home with them. I do freelance: graphic and web design on the side, but I haven’t found enough for a steady income so I’m always on the look-out for other opportunities. It was through a MOPS convention that I found out about SimplyFun.
Yes, SimplyFun is a home party consultant business, much like others. I earn income through party sales and website sales. I can offer hostesses ½ off items and free merchandise. The mission of SimplyFun was the biggest draw for me: Smarter Kids…Stronger Families. I want my kids to know that family is a top priority. Of course I want them to be smart too, and SimplyFun offers a way for kids to learn while at the same time making the connections with their family members that will last a lifetime!

I was skeptical about any consultant/work from home business and wondered about any and all “catches”, but I found that everything was simple enough and tha tit was really up to me as to how much I wanted to work and how much I wanted to earn. And with the starter kit at only $99, I figured it was a minimal investment compared to other businesses. If I purchased all the games individually, it was well worth over $250!

I’ve never sold anything other than cookies, donuts and candy bars…so I wasn’t sure I could do direct sales. But like those products, SimplyFun is also a product that practically sells itself. The games are fun and educational, and they are built to last so they can grow with your child. And with all the training and support of my regional manager, I’m set to build my team and grow this business! I’m excited to say I get to PLAY for a living, and help families focus more on building those bonds that will last through life. SimplyFun is a company that cares about families, and communities and they have some GREAT SPECIAL OFFERS for new consultants.
