Roanoke Valley SPCA: How Your Family Can Help

April 15, 2014
The Roanoke Valley SPCA needs our help! And, there are several different ways you can show your support. Choose one, two, or all three! The animals will forever thank you for it!

DONATE
The RVSPCA relies on donations from the community. You can become a PET PATRON and pledge a monthly amount or maybe celebrate a birthday or anniversary with the RVSPCA being the beneficiary. There are also several designated funds already set up to provide food, help with the foster care program, help with medical procedures, or help with the cost of microchipping all the animals.

The RVSPCA also has a WISH LIST set up on Amazon.com where you can have much needed items sent right to their door.

VOLUNTEER
Did you know you can volunteer as a family? There is an orientation coming up April 26th at 1pm for those families interested. The RVSPCA encourages all ages of kids to volunteer and anyone under the age of 16 does have to have a parent or guardian present with them.

FOSTER A PET
Sometimes the animals brought into the RVSPCA need some extra care, for example they may have been orhpaned, newborn litters, or recovering from illness or injury. Those special animals need the extra TLC fostering can provide before they are ready to be adopted into their forever home. Fostering can last anywhere from 2-8 weeks and the RVSPCA provides everything you need, provides any medical care necessary, and is there to fully support you as a foster family.
