I want to introduce you to NYR Organic. And, I thought Earth Day would be fitting because this company is truly a “green” company. Neal’s Yard Remedies offers organic beauty & wellness products, and they’ve been around since the early 1980’s in the UK. In fact, they became the first Carbon Neutral main street retailer. But that’s just the tip of the iceberg. The list of what makes NYR Organic a green company is pretty amazing including catalogs printed with vegetable-based ink on FSC-accredited paper, packaging in blue bottles that contain 100% post-consumer recyclate that can be recycled, and their eco-friendly factory uses 100% renewable energy tariffs and solar panels. And, I haven’t even mentioned their organic, natural products yet!
Helping people live a more healthy life is the mission of NYR Organic and it’s not only evident in how they run their business, but in their products, as well. One of the things that first drew me to trying NYR Organic was their “no” list. Ingredients they will not put in any product because they are not 100% sure of it’s safety for us or the environment. This list includes parabens, GMOs, nano technology, synthetic fragrance, mineral oils & silicones, phthalates, DEA, BHT, EDTA, propylene glycol, or acrylates. Pretty impressive list, right?
There are definitely some great companies out there, similar to NYR Organic, that also strive to avoid using many of the above listed ingredients, but the more I learned about NYR Organic the more impressed I became of this company. And the more I realized that this company really is the real deal.
Alright, so are the products actually any good? I mean, can they really stand behind all they tout themselves to be? I say yes. I’ve been using several NYR Organic products including the Organic Eye Make-up Remover and their Rejuvenating Frankincense collection for a few weeks now. My skin looks and feels amazing. Plus, oh my goodness the Frankincense. Frankincense is known to lift your mood and alleviate anxiety. It’s like a mini relaxing spa treatment every day. I am hooked!
I love knowing I’m using products that are good for me and good for the environment. I don’t have to read the labels because I know it’s safe and certified organic by the Soil Association. I only wish I would have discovered them sooner,and yes, my family and I are slowly making the switch from our current brands with “nasties” to NYR Organic with nothing but healthy goodness.
NYR Organic has products for men, moms-to-be and babies, a line of essential oils (which if you’ve been a follower of mine you know I love using), supplements (including a new SuperFood Organic Greens Complex out in May), and even health books! Oh, I almost forgot their organic line of mineral make-up! Seriously, just about all the types of products and supplements I was using from various other companies I can now get in one place. And, I know they are safe for me and my family.
