Macaroni Make a Difference Day~Coming Soon!

What is Macaroni Make a Difference Day? MMDD is our chance to do something great and important in our community. We are focusing our MMDD here in Roanoke on Anti-Bullying Awareness. I choose this as our focus because I think it’s a topic that still needs to be addressed with kids of all ages. Our hope is that kids and families will feel empowered and ready to stand up to bullying so we can once and for all put an end to it. Hopefully in the future we won’t need anti-bullying awareness events because it will be a thing of the past. But, in the meantime MMDD is our way to use our voice to be heard. 

Bullying is when you choose to hate and we want kids to knock out bullying and choose kindness. A simple act of kindess is really all it takes to make a powerful impact on others. At our event we are going to encourage kids to sign an anti-bullying pledge and strive to do simple acts of kindness every single day.
