Hands-Free Solution for Busy Moms ~ Jabra Tour Review

By Jamie Clark, MK Roanoke Publisher September 2, 2014
I have reached the chauffeur stage of parenting. Shuttling kids to and from school, sports, friends houses, etc. I spend a lot of time in the car and that often translates to needing to make phone calls and even send texts to arrange pick-ups and/or drop-offs. We all know the dangers of texting and driving, and I also try to minimize any phone handling I do while driving because I've got precious cargo with me. Plus, those kids in the backseat are watching. When it comes time for them to get behind the wheel I want them to see that good drivers leave their phones alone.

When I was given the opportunity to try the Jabra Tour I was ecstatic. This is truly the ultimate in hands-free calling and control of your phone. The biggest test for me was really on the quality of the call. I hate when I'm talking to someone and it sounds like they are in a bubble and clearly on a bluetooth device or speaker phone. So, I put this to the test and called my mom. She said the sound was really, really good. As in you could barely tell I was using a bluetooth device. And, when I called my husband, he didn't even realize I was using it. The Jabra Tour is that good. (And for you techies out there the Jabra Tour has a 3-watt speaker and HD Voice Microphone to help the sound quality sound so good!)

With the touch of one button I can activate Siri on my iPhone to make a call, search for the nearest Chick-fil-A, or even send a quick text. All without ever touching my phone. The Jabra Tour also streams multimedia so I can listen to music, podcasts, and get GPS directions. I love this so much.

Because of a built in motion detector I can leave the device turned on and it automatically connects to my phone when I get in the car. I don't even have to think about it. Which comes in hand for someone forgetful like me.

If you are also in the chauffeur stage of parenting the Jabra Tour is a high quality, safe, hands-free driving option. And, if you are in the "I always have a baby/toddler on my hip and never have a free hand" stage of parenting, Jabra Stealth might be your perfect solution for hands-free at home. Jabra has products for all stages of motherhood!
