Kids are out of school so what's a parent to do to keep the kids from climbing the walls and you from losing your mind? Don't panic! Mac Kid has you covered with ways to entertain, stimulate, and exhaust your kids all winter break long!

Local Day Camps:

• River Rock Climbing Holiday Camps
• Salem Art Center Wonderful Artful Workshops
• Roanoke County Winter Break Camps

Within a Days Drive:

• Go skiing, snowboarding, or snowtubing at nearby Winterplace
• Head up to Mountain Lake Lodge for weekend stay with their Warmth of the Holidays Package
• Visit Dollywood's Smoky Mountain Christmas

Family Fun:

• Visit a Virginia State Park and participate in their annual First Day Hike on Jan 1st
• Indoor ice-skating at the Berglund Center
• Make a date with one of your kiddos...dinner and a movie are fun for all ages!
• Use some of those gift certificates your kids got (or will be getting) think of cool places like our favorite, Glazed Bisque-It
• Go roller skating! Our local favorite? Star City Skate on Hershberger!
• Visit a local museum (We are so lucky to have such amazing museums right here in Roanoke!)
• Have a PJ and movie/family game day. Take time to relax and just enjoy each other's company!
