Calling all actors! Pat Wilhelms, Artistic Director for Roanoke Children’s Theatre, is pleased to announce auditions for the remaining two productions in the 2014-2015 Season. Auditions will take place on January 3, 2015 from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. at Roanoke Children’s Theatre (in the Dumas Center - 108 First Street NW).
Auditions will be held for Eat: It’s Not About Food and Fancy Nancy and all ages are encouraged to apply as RCT will be casting Adult Equity & Non-Equity Actors and Youth Actors. To audition, call (540) 400-7795 to schedule an appointment. Adult actors should prepare a 1 minute monologue and/or 16 bars of a song (if they sing). Youth actors should prepare a 1 minute memorized monologue or poem and/or 16 bars of a song (if they sing). Everyone should bring a headshot (or school picture), resume (or list of school plays/camps/classes taken) and sheet music in the correct key.

Candidly exploring causes and warning signs, the play takes a hard look at the influences of society and the media on young people.
