Dear Middle School Parents,
This is an invitation for your middle schooler(s)! Please share this invitation! The Prevention Council of Roanoke County and the BOLT Planning Team invites all middle schoolers to the very first regional BOLT – Being Outstanding Leaders Together. This event will promote prevention education and youth leadership through school teams. This regional event is in its 10th year. This year we have been honored to host the new logo just for middle schools! BOLT!
Our BOLT Planning Team, consisting of high school prevention club members as well as others from around the Valley and region have been working hard to make this a great first time BOLT event at Camp Roanoke!
BOLT will be held on Saturday, May 2nd from 2 – 6 PM out at Camp Roanoke. The event is FREE! We will have guest speakers, music, food, prizes, lots of games, stations, opportunities to be with your friends and meet new people from around the region. In order to attend you must sign up a team!

School teams must have a minimum of 5 members or a maximum of 8. We will be accepting 20 teams from around the region so be sure to sign up early! Make sure to wear your school colors and bring a picture or drawing of your school mascot or anything else that shows your school and team spirit!
As soon as you register your team and give us contact information we will add your team to the list for the first ever BOLT event! You will get up to date emails throughout the next several weeks with more details about the day!
