STACK Velocity Sports Performance of Roanoke is open and offering athletes a complimentary training session.

STACK Velocity is the nation’s elite sports performance training center designed to help athletes reach their goals. The program is developed around science-based training, and is enhanced by distinguished coaching, 
high end technology, and nutrition management. STACK Velocity training is proven to advance athletic strength, power, agility, speed, and skill while significantly reducing the risk of sports-related injuries. For sports enthusiasts of all ages and ability, STACK Velocity of Roanoke lets local athletes train like the pros.

“I’m proud to bring the STACK Velocity leadership and philosophy to Roanoke and greater Southwest Virginia,” says Kevin Creehan, Center Director.  “Sports have always played an important role in my life, and I’m excited to demonstrate how our program can help Virginia athletes be their best on game day and every day.”

The 10,000 square foot, one-of-a-kind facility located near downtown Roanoke features an open floor plan with elevated ceiling, observation lobby for athlete guest or parent, video analysis technology, state-of-the-art exercise equipment, two adjustable batting cages, and a 5500 square foot indoor turf field large enough to support full combine training.  Serving athletes of all ages, programs are customized and include conditioning in sports such as football, soccer, baseball, softball, basketball, lacrosse and golf.  Group, private, and semi-private training STACK Velocity is the only national training program committed to hiring a degreed and certified coaching staff.  Roanoke’s Sports Performance Director, Jake Roy, has a long history of overseeing strength and conditioning with athletic teams at Brown University and Southern Illinois, in addition to developing specific mechanics with the San Francisco Giants and St. Louis Cardinals.  His skill set is unique to 
Southwest Virginia and he will effectively prepare local athletes to take their game to the next level.
