Alright , et me break it down for you~
1. The rides were fantastic. Very family-friendly and a lot to choose from for all ages. Plenty to do for young children and plenty to do for older, thrill-seeking {ahem, mine} children.

2. I highly recommend getting the TimeSaver. This helps you ride almost all the bigger slides without the wait and lines can get pretty long. Well worth the extra money.
3. I also recommend getting a Canopy or Retreat. While there are plenty of seats and lounge chairs throughout the park, and even a decent amount in the shade, it was nice to have our own canopy with 2 lounge chairs and a place to lock up our things. We used the canopy when we needed to take a break from the sun and also to eat our lunch. Really glad we did it.
4. Wear flip flops or water shoes. The pavement gets hot. Enough said.
5. Nice perk: Dollywood's Splash Country offers free water throughout the park. It's nice extras such as this that really can make a difference.
6. Your phone will get wet...so best to lock it up with your other valuables. While I wish I had taken a few more pictures, "unplugging" and being present with my boys was really what I loved most!
If you have a weekend free between and Sept 5th (which is their last day for the season), I would grab the kids and go!
