The Science Museum of Western Virginia Introduces New and Improved Memberships that are customizable to suit each unique family.

The Atom, The Tornado and The Solar System are the new membership packages at the Science Museum of Western Virginia. Packages are available for individual adults (The Atom) to large families with 3 adults and up to 6 children (The Solar System). These memberships have improved benefits such as guest passes, free supplies to CraftBar events and greater store discounts.
“We often see a demand for 3 adults to be named on a membership as families might have a nanny or Granny who often comes to the museum.” Koren Smith, Marketing Director explains.
In addition to the base package, members can add an extra adult or child to the membership as needed. An additional adult is an extra $20 and an additional child is $10. Upgrading to the passport plan for $25 is highly recommended as it gives members free admission of over 300 science centers worldwide!
A new feature of the membership packages are the available discounts for students, seniors (60yrs+) and military members, who all receive 10% off memberships. Educators will now enjoy a 20% discount on all memberships and admission tickets!
