Interested in Girl Scouts? Learn More and Join This Month!

Informational sessions are taking place throughout the valley this month!

By Jennifer Pfister August 18, 2019
Girl Scouts is inviting girls to join the fun and register for Girl Scouting! Girl Scouts gives girls a supportive space to take chances, learn about what excites them, try new things, and lead the world in female empowerment––improving all aspects of their lives and surrounding community!

You probably know that Girl Scouts earn badges, make crafts, go camping, and sell cookies, but they also do a whole lot more! They participate in community service projects that help improve their neighborhoods, schools, and the planet; take part in outdoors activities such as kayaking, caving, and horseback riding; and partake in science fun like stargazing, chemistry, and vet science!

Girl Scout Sign-Up Nights are designed for potential Girl Scouts and volunteers to learn more about the organization, its mission, and what it means to join Girl Scouts. Registration will be available for those interested.
