Learning to live with diabetes can be challenging, especially for children. Camp Too Sweet is a five-day, four-night traditional camp for children ages 8 to 16 living with type 1 or type 2 diabetes.

Camp Treehouse, hosted by Carilion Clinic’s Center for Grief and Healing, is a free, overnight family experience designed to provide a safe, supportive space for children and teens (grades K – 8) where they can learn about grief's impact on one another and the family unit.

Camp Fernwood is an all-girls residential summer camp located in Poland, Maine for campers ages 7 to 15. Founded in 1921, Camp Fernwood is rooted in the four principles of living simply, enjoying the beauty and wonder of natural surroundings, nurturing tolerance and unselfishness, and developing loving, lifelong friendships.

Camp Fernwood's program is intentional, allowing for friendships to form, independence and resilience to develop, and girls to fully immerse themselves in the complete camp experience.
