National Geographic Wild Puzzles and Games

a review

I have always been a big fan of puzzles, but I have to admit, I find it hard to find puzzles that are of interest to my boys.  Either they are way too hard or way too easy, and generally not much fun for my kids.  But, I am very happy to report that the Uncle Milton Nat Geo Wild Puzzles were seriously just right for my kids!  And, they were a totally fun activity for us  to do together as a family!

We did the Panorama Puzzle Pride of Lions first.  It's actually really cool because it's broken into 3 separate puzzles that can be done individually or joined together to make a bigger scene.  The 3 puzzles each have different size pieces and range in level of difficulty so even my 5 year old could help with no trouble.

We found the Foil Puzzle Peackock to be a little more challenging, but what my kids realized is that you don't have to finish a puzzle in one sitting.  We can work on it, and come back to it.  And, even just spending 5 min here or there is fine, too!  It was neat to see how we left it out on the table and they would wander back to it every now and then!  Great lesson in patience!

Our family also enjoys family game night and Nat Geo Wild does not disappoint.  The set of card games has the best pictures and my kids LOVED playing "Go Divin'!" (plays like Go Fish) the best.  We also had fun with Memory Match Game: Baby Wild Animals.  National Geographic does not disappoint!
