Need a treat to make for your Christmas party? Start by baking some sugar cookies and add a melting snowman. It is so simple and the kids can help too.
Craft Supplies Needed
1. 1 Cup Confectioners sugar
2. 2 teaspoon milk
3. 2 teaspoons light corn syrup
4. 1/4 teaspoon almond extract
5. A dozen sugar cookies
6. A dozen marshmallows
Instructions To Make A Melted Snowman Cookie :
1. Using a small bowl, stir together milk and confectioners sugar until it is smooth.
2. Beat in corn syrup and almond extract until icing is smooth and glossy. If icing is too thick, add more corn syrup.
3. Put some of the icing into dixie cups and add food coloring to each cup and mix together.
4. Paint the white icing onto the sugar cookies.
5. Push a marshmallow into each cookie.
6. Use your paint brush to paint the face and body onto your sugar cookie melted snowman.
