Pinwheels are such a fun and easy craft for any holiday, and they are a great way to celebrate Dr. Seuss's Birthday.
Make copies of different pages or the cover of some Dr. Seuss books. Children can choose two pictures to use for their pinwheels.
Place the two pictures together and fold the top corner diagonally. Then remove the bottom portion, so that when you open it, you will have a square.
Then glue the two pieces together, so that both the front and the back have a picture. Fold again on the crease and then fold again diagonally.
When you open it up, you will cut to almost the center of the square on all four creases.
Using a hole punch, make a hole in the right corner of each section, as well as, in the center of the square. Bring each corner to the center and carefully add a thumbtack to the center and into the eraser of a pencil.
