Roanoke Macaroni Kid Families recently attended an exclusive Disney Junior Premiere party for the new Disney Junior series, Miles from Tomorrowland. The party was held in the planetarium at the Science Museum of Western Virginia. 10 lucky families won admission to the museum exhibits and a pre-premiere party. Disney provided Macaroni Kid Roanoke with fun activities, including VIP badges, space helmets, and activity booklets.

Miles from Tomorrowland is about a family who landed on the moon in their shuttle, the Stellosphere. The main character, Miles Callisto, is a typically energetic 7 year old boy, who is ready for adventure and exploring space with his best friend Merc- a robotic ostrich that is programmed to have feelings. The rest of the Callisto clan is made up of his father, Captain Leo, and Mother, Captain Phoebe, and Sister Loretta. Loretta is a great big sister who has a special bracelet where she can find the answer to most any question in the universe.
Miles from Tomorrowland is based around educating children about science and technology while at the same time, reminding them that family matters most.
During the preview, we watched as Miles, with the help of his parents, cleverly saves his sister from doom as he races to rescue her before she dives over an intergalactic waterfall. We can’t wait to join Miles on more adventures in the galaxy!
Miles from Tomorrowland officially blasts off on February 6th at 9 a.m. ET on Disney Junior!
