Easter Fun Times Two~Peep Pops & Jellybean Bracelets

March 24, 2015
First up are these adorable Jellybean Bracelets. Just a warning: they are best suited for older kids and teens to make, but totally fun for kids of all ages to wear (and eat!)

What you need:
  • jelly beans
  • stretch string
  • needle (one with a large eye is helpful)

What to do:
  1. Thread the needle and string away!
  2. I found that holding the needle upright with one hand and pushing the jellybean down onto it was easiest. I also found having a damp papertowel helpful because the needle got sticky and this was handy for wiping it.
  3. Add jellybeans to desired length then tie off. That's it!

Next up are Peep Pops. Why? Because dipping anything in chocolate and adding sprinkles makes it oh-so yummy!

What you need:
  • Peeps
  • Cake pops or popsicle sticks work, too
  • candiquick (or other easy-melt chocolate)
  • sprinkles
  • parchment paper

What to do:
  1. Melt the chocolate
  2. While chocolate is melting (usually about 90 seconds) put the popsicle sticks into the Peeps
  3. Dip Peeps into the chocolate and then add sprinkles
