It's always fun to spread a little kindness around and I can't even tell you how much fun my kids and I had planning which neighbors to "egg" and then working on our plan of "attack." They were very serious and thoughtful about all of this. We have to be sneaky. But not too sneaky that other neighbors will get suspicious and call the cops. We have to make sure they won't be home. But also make sure aren't becoming the neighborhood stalkers staring at everyone through closed blinds with binoculars. Remember the movie Home Alone when Kevin drew out his plan for attacking the bad guys? Take out the bad guys and all the mean, hurtful stuff and we've basically got the same thing. My kids have a very elaborate, drawn out plan for our impending neighborly egging. And we can't wait.ย
And while I said weย aren't be going to stalkers, I may not have been totally truthful because I'm pretty sure we will all be glued to our front window to see their faces when they discover they've been egged!
Want to join the fun? It's really easy!ย
1. Create a sign like the one below or click HERE for a free printable of ours.
2. Fill 11 plastic eggs with candy or toys (click here for 40 non-candy ideas!)
3. Leave one plastic egg empty.ย
4. Sneak over to a neighbor's house and hide the eggs in their yard and leave the sign on their front porch or door. You can even be extra creative and leave the sign with an empty Easter basket to make the searching even more fun!
5. They try to catch your neighbors coming home so you can watch them have fun on their very own Easter egg hunt!
