I feel like I’m a little late to the party, but let me tell you, Walmart Online Grocery Pick Up is a lifesaver!!
Earlier this week, I placed my first order through the Walmart Grocery app. I normally do the bulk of my grocery shopping on the weekend, and prep all of our lunches and a few dinners for the week on Sunday. This past weekend, I was dealing with a flooded basement instead, can anyone else relate? Grocery shopping AND meal prepping on Monday night, after our weekly Boy Scout meeting was the LAST thing I wanted to have to do!
Using the Walmart Grocery App was very simple!
I was able to search for what I needed, add it to my online cart, and reserve a pickup time in just a few minutes. When my order was ready, I received an email. Don’t worry, your food is not sitting out waiting for you to arrive. When you arrive at Walmart you will check in from the app, and an associate will bring your items to you within minutes.

When I arrived at the Clearbrook Walmart, I was a little confused on where to pick up the groceries and called the helpline. The associate, Ryan, stayed on the phone with me to guide me to the correct spot. Then, Ryan and the manager, Ray, greeted me since I was a first-time WOGPU customer. Ray explained the substitution process and made sure I was okay with the substitute they chose for 2 of my items. Bonus! One of my products was upgraded to name brand, at the lower house brand cost! Ryan and Ray were both super friendly and helpful (and had no idea I was going to write an article about them!)
If you’re like me, you may be picky about your groceries and you may be skeptical about things like how fresh the produce and meat will be when you pick it up, or will your ice cream be melted? I ordered several of these items and everything was very fresh and nothing melted, just like I would have selected it myself!
My sons are having a get together this week with friends to celebrate the end of school so we chose a variety of Star Wars Popsicle®, Good Humor® bars, Breyers® Cookies and Cream and Klondike® ice cream bars to celebrate the arrival of summer.
And, since I was able to save time on shopping, I was able to spend more time helping my niece, who recently graduated from college, write her resume. Applying for jobs and making plans goes really well with Magnum® Chocolate Hazelnut ice cream as a treat!

I highly recommend you give the Walmart Online Grocery a try, so you can Pickup and Go, and use the time you saved enjoying your family.
