Two sick kids pretty much sums up my weekend. One confirmed case of the flu and the other with flu-like symptoms and both taking Tamiflu (which is seriously a miracle drug!)
On the bright side, I did a ton of cleaning and literally dropped a Lysol bomb on my house. So there's that. They are cleared to go back to school tomorrow (hallelujah!) It's been tough because they have started feeling better and had the doctor not specifically said no school until Wednesday I probably would have sent them already. Which is probably how the flu keeps going round and round and round with kids at school that shouldn't be.
This is a tough time of year between the weather and illnesses. I am praying the groundhog was correct and we are getting an early spring. I think we deserve it, don't you?
And I've come to realize why Valentine's Day is in February. We all need something fun to focus on and day around love is just the answer.
