Downtown Roanoke Restaurant Week Starts Today!

By Beth Bell, Publisher January 21, 2021

Restaurant Week is one of my favorites! It's such a fun time to try out some new places, new dishes and support our very local restaurants.  Last year, I fell in love with Inka Peruvian Grille during restaurant week. Their food is so fresh and spiced, just right.  Also, large portions and service that is top-notched! They now have 2 locations in Roanoke- downtown next to the Patrick Henry Hotel on Jefferson St, and new on Brambleton Ave. (I'm really excited about this, it's 5 minutes away from me!)

This year's Restaurant Week is slightly different, in that Downtown Roanoke Incorporated let the restaurants choose what kind of special they wanted to offer- lunch, dinner or even a family meal plan (a great value!)

So we recommend that you book a Kid's Night Out event at the YMCA and visit a new restaurant during Restaurant Week 2021! You can get it to go and have a romantic evening at the Mil Mountain Star. Message us if you need suggestions or ideas! We love food, and romance!

Restaurants will offer meals in house and to go in categories from $10-$40 per meal. You can see all of the menus here.

When you eat out over the next week, make sure you tag Downtown Roanoke Incorporated and use hashtag #RoanokeRestaurantWeek so you can be entered to win $500 worth of Downtown Roanoke Gift Cards courtesy of Coca Cola. TO ENTER, post your Restaurant Week food photos on Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter using #RoanokeRestaurantWeek. 10 winners will be randomly drawn on February 1st. Each will receive a $50 Downtown Roanoke Gift Card! Remember to make your photo posts public so we can see them!

What about parking?

Personally, I have NEVER had an issue. I always drive right into a 2 hour spot or free on the weekend spot.  or a Free for an hour, $! for each hour after, a great deal! To help make Restaurant Week a success, PARK Roanoke is offering FREE parking in their lots and garages (except Market Garage) on Saturday 1/23 and 1/30. View the parking locations.
