The MOMS Club is a non-profit international organization which provides support, friendship, fun activities, and informative meetings for mothers who have chosen to stay home to raise their children, including moms who work from home or part-time. Activities are mainly held during the day, when mothers and their children need companionship. We also have special events and community service projects throughout the year.
The MOMS Club offers many types of activities. Members often hold playdates in their homes, backyards, or at local parks. The club also schedules seasonal outdoor activities, such as pumpkin patch visits and picnics, and special group events at places like the local bakery or the fire station. We often get group rates on tickets to children’s shows, festivals, and area attractions. With MOMS Club, you and your children will go places and do things you might never have thought of otherwise!
Business Review
When I moved to the Roanoke area 9 years ago, MOMS Club was a lifeline for me. I had no friends, family, or support of any kind here. Through MOMS Club, I made so many friends for both my child and me. It is wonderful to go to a park and have other moms around to talk with. It is so nice to have a group of experienced moms to recommend a pediatrician or give advice on potty training. I also really enjoy giving to our local community with our service projects (Donating backpacks full of food to help end child hunger, baking cookies for Cookies for Kid's Cancer, and taking donations for our local NICU are some of the projects we have done in the past year or so). Whether you are new to the area or have lived here your whole life, MOMS Club has something to offer you.
