At the week-long Girls Rock Roanoke day camp, girls ages 8-16 form bands, write an original song, and perform LIVE on stage in a final showcase. They will also participate in workshops on women’s history, DIY clothing, ‘zines, body confidence, stage performance, teamwork, tech talk, the business of music and more! During lunch, campers get to listen to guest artists and have dance parties.
