Lindsay McKinnon, founder of Soul Body Connect, is now hosting Virtual Qoya lessons for Women, Moms, Moms & Tots, Teens and Tweens!

What is Qoya?

Qoya (pronounced COY-uh) is like going to a yoga class, but more fun.  It’s like going to a dance class, but not.  It’s like having a party with close friends, but different.  It’s like going on a transformational retreat, but condensed into one hour instead of one week.

Qoya is movement as medicine. It is based on this simple idea : through movement we remember. We remember, that our physical essence is Wise, Wild, and Free. Wise Wild, and Free also draw reference to the movement forms practiced in a Qoya class.

Wise: inspired by the wisdom of yoga

Wild: reclaiming your true nature through the creative expression in dance

Free: the freedom to feel good in the body through movement

Through moving our bodies we can remember how to trust ourselves, be ourselves, and express ourselves. We connect with our inner truth, with one another, and have fun while doing it!
