Description
Starting at 9 am the South County library will open early to offer a sensory-friendly service hour. The lights will be dimmed, item scanning will be limited to check-out only, and there will be passive activities for all ages. All patrons are welcome to enjoy a quieter environment in which to explore and discover the wide variety of library services.
An Accessibility Library of Things will also be available including a handheld c-pen reader that reads aloud scanned text, magnifying glasses with a light, happy lights, and a large print keyboard.
At 10 am the library will open for daily business hours.
