Summer Camps
The Salem Parks and Recreation department has provided summer camps for the youth in the City of Salem for over 25 years, giving kids the opportunity to experience the fun of various activities throughout the summer. Each sports camp is taught by Salem High School Head Coaches, some of the premiere head coaches in the Roanoke Valley. Camps offered also include an Art Camp and the Salem Junior Golf which is taught by the pros at Hanging Rock Golf Course, making it a great introduction to the game of golf.
At only $10 per camper for most camps, the City of Salem offers some of the most affordable summer camps around. Camps are for rising 2nd to 9th graders unless otherwise noted.

- Location: South Salem Elementary

- Time: 9 am to 11:30 am
- Ages: Rising 2nd through 9th graders
- Location: Salem Civic Center Tennis Courts
- Fee: $10

Please note: Campers need to bring their own racquet.
